Data collection

What Drippy Link collects when you use drippy.link and related hosts, and how to request deletion of your data.

This page supplements our Privacy policy. It summarizes categories of information we process so you know what is stored when you have an account, use short links, or connect third-party services.

Information we collect

  • Account and profile: email, password (stored hashed), handle, display name, date of birth (for eligibility), link-page content (themes, Drops, URLs you configure), and settings you save on your account.
  • Authentication and security: session data, sign-in history as needed to operate the service, and technical logs (for example IP address, user agent, timestamps) used to prevent abuse and debug issues.
  • Usage and analytics: page views, short-link clicks, and aggregated or privacy-preserving metrics described in our Privacy policy.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: as described in our Cookie notice.
  • Third-party connections (when you use them): if you connect a service such as Instagram through Meta’s APIs, we may store tokens, account identifiers, and data returned by that provider (for example profile or media metadata) only as needed to provide the feature you enabled. Those providers have their own policies; disconnecting in Drippy Link does not delete data already held by Meta or other platforms.

How we use this information

We use the data above to run Drippy Link, personalize your link page, measure performance, comply with law, and communicate with you about the service. We do not sell your personal information.

Delete my data

You can ask us to delete personal data we hold about your Drippy Link account. This includes account credentials, profile and link-page content, short links tied to your account, and connected third-party tokens we store for features you turned on.

To request deletion:

  1. Email [email protected] from the address on your account (or tell us the handle and email you used to sign up).
  2. Use the subject line Delete my data and state that you want your Drippy Link account and associated personal data removed.
  3. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before we delete anything.

After we verify your request, we will delete or anonymize personal data in our systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain information for legal, security, or backup obligations. Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be kept.

If you only want to remove a connected third-party account (for example Instagram) without closing your Drippy Link account, say so in your email or disconnect the service from your account settings when that option is available.

For general questions (not deletion), use our Contact page.

Regional rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, correction, portability, objection). The process above satisfies our obligation to provide a way to request deletion; for other rights, contact us at the same address and describe your request.

Changes

We may update this page and will post changes here.
